WASZP 2018 European Championships on Lake Garda, Italy

The European WASZP Centre is very pleased to announce that entries to the 2018 WASZP European Championships are now open!

WASZP European Championships 2018
WASZP Games 2018 (Garda)

This event will be held at Fraglia Vela Malcesine from the 28th June to 1st of July 2018 and will be the first ever WASZP European Championships. Early indications show a fleet of 60+ will be in attendance with a wide age demographic from kids aged 13 straight out of Optimists and Open Bics, right through to adults in their 60s!

The fleet will come from all parts of Europe with big fleets expected from a number of countries. To add some international flavour we have also had interest from Australia, New Zealand and the USA. All are keen to test the competition before the 2019 WASZP Games in Perth Australia.

In collaboration with WASZP.rocks and the Malcesine Sailing Centre (FV Malcesine) we have a programme of activities around the event at a location famous for its regular, thermal winds and a super holiday destination for all the family. Europa Surf and Sail, at the same location, rents SUPs, kayaks, catamarans, dinghies and windsurf equipment.

WASZP Racing formats

The racing formats will include
- 8 Championship Races
- Slalom Championship
- GPS Speed Demon

Entry forms, accommodation options and race documents are available at the EVENT PAGE
